To use this service, you need a satellite signal

I have the above error message on every menu item on the Sky Q box.

I have had 'No Satellite signal' before where you could flick between the channels and they would tell you there is no signal, however, in this case it is simply a blue screen saying there is a problem with the signal - I cannot scroll up or down channels at all.

It was working completely normally and I only initially rebooted it because the TV guide wasn't loading.

Does anyone know what this means?

Thanks

Hi @nickr92

Work through the following link and if you cannot solve your issue it will lead to booking a Engineer.
Alternately, if you are on a Communal Dish you will need to contact your Landlord or Management company.

@nickr92  Do you have your own satellite minidish, or are you using a communal Integrated Reception System installation to provide your satellite transponder signals?

@nickr92  Did you just reboot your Sky Q receiver by removing its mains power for a few seconds, or did you reset your Sky Q receiver, because if you reset it, you will probably have to re-configure your Sky Q receiver to use SCR LNB mode instead of the default WideBand LNB mode.

@Godfrey thanks -  I have already re-configured the Sky Q receiver to SCR and then rebooted again but no changes in the problem
