Re: Tnt sports

Getting same problem as others above - for weeks now my TNT SPORTS channels whicg i get as part of my SKY package, show NO SATELITE SIGNAL, yet all other channels are good, Signal Strength Strong and Signal Quality about 85%. A lot of money to view a message that is effectively a load of Bow Locks instead of the Premier League.

Re: Tnt sports

Has anyone had any resolution to this yet?  Seems there's a large amount of us paying for TNT Sports & not actually getting it, other than to watch on Discovery+.

Think I might just cancel if no fix coming.

Re: Tnt sports

My issue was resolved by the Engineer realigning my dish My  house is very old and the mountings had become slightly loose. The dish had dropped slightly.

The fix is to do a hard reboot of your Q box by unplugging from the mains for at least 5 minutes.

If the channel issues continue, you may have a misaligned dish and will need to contact Sky to organise an engineer.

Re: Tnt sports

Hi,  even though every single other channel is ok?  I'm not disputing but seems really unlikely that's all

@FrustratedUser7
A misalignment is not necessarily something that will be visible to the naked eye and could only affect one or two channels.

Yep, as per @Daniel0210, often you don't notice as the move is small but it is the most likely issue, especially in light of storm Lilian.

All of the TNT Sports HD channels are on 11582 H, so if the dish is off slightly, you lose them all, or the storm may have moved something else which blocks line of sight, or a nearby tree might have grown and is now blocking it.

Our dish is on the front of the house, if my daughter opens her bedroom window too far, we lose all of the Sky Sports channels.

There was an issue last weekend that wasn't connected to dish alignment, which the hard reboot should sort, so do that first. If you still don't have the channels, it is engineer time.

The reason we remind people you can watch through Discovery+ is because an engineer appointment may take a couple of weeks.

Re: Tnt sports

Thank you folks.  I've had Sky for so many years and it seemed all or nothing in the (very few) occasions we've had issues.

I'll speak to them and see what can find done.

Much appreciated 👍

Re: Tnt sports

Just for the record my problem is now resolved (I emaiuled the CEOs of Sky and BT to get their attention!). After no help from BT (all they had to say was that my contract was in place and paired to my viewing card so they had nothing else to offer, and could not remotely understand my point that they should take it up with Sky because a) they must have a commercial contarc in place for Sky to deliver this, and b) my contract is with BT so they should be responsible for delivering it). Anyway, I was contacted by  a guy called Adam from the Sky Customer Priority Team, and he was excellent., sticking with the issue (including multiple callbacks) until it was resolved He helped me to get an engineer visit organised with Sky Protect (which I pay for), and the engineer replaced both my disk (he took one look and said "that's old"!) and the connectors on the cables into the HD+ box. And that was it, everything working again.

I've canelled by BT contract due to the appalling customer service, and will contract TNT Sports directly with Sky so that in future there's only one organisation to deal with.
