I've recently upgraded to Multiroom. Have noticed when watching TV in room with main box there is an intermittent tapping/ticking/morse code type noise only lasts a second or two and is most moticeable on BBC Ness, Sky News, Channel 4 & Channel 5 - so it's not one broadcaster.
Also had new TVs installed just before new Mini Box but hadn't noticed there was a noise on new TV with only original Sky Q box and there definitely was no noise with old TV setup.
Is this a known issue? Is there anything I can check/change on sound settings?
OH barely hears it but I'm constantly listening for it now and can't tune it out.

Hi @mbeamethyst
I suspect it is the noise of the hard drive in the main Q box.
This can be more noticeable depending on the surface that the Q box is standing.

Hi we wondered that too but the noise only happens when the sound is on. If you mute the sound or pause the picture on the troublesome chanels there's no noise.

Hi @mbeamethyst
Try the different Audio formats in the Q box Settings.
Home - Settings - Setup- Audio Visual.
HDMI Audio format.
Normal, DD etc
