The sound from my skyW box just stopped working. analogue signal sound ok

The sound on my Sky Q box suddenly stopped working! But on the analogue signal the sound is ok! Can anyone suggest a fix please?

The first thing to try is a power down restart of your SKY box :

Use the remote to place it into standby mode

 Then remove the power to it (either switch off at mains or remove the power plug)

 Wait at least 30s

 Then re-apply the power & wait for it to fully restart - this may take a few minutes.

By analague I presume you mean Freeview - if the restart of the SKY fails to return sound even though your TV  is working for others I suggest you try a power down restar of the TV also

@Jerry25  I'd also suggest that if the restarts don't work, you check that the HDMI cable from your Sky box to TV is firmly in place at both ends
