The minibox takes several seconds to respond to remote input.
The last few weeks when watching recorded rugby it has taken a few seconds for the box to respond to inputs. Last night it was much worse e.g. up to 5 secs to respond. Then there was a blue screen message saying the minibox had lost connection.
Turning the box off at the mains allowed it to reconnect but then the lagging still happened intermittently.
The minibox is in a room directly above the main box which is hard wired into the router, which again is directly below the minibox.
WiFi signal is strong (+50mbps in the loft - which is a floor above and the other side of the house.

@Ngp77 Have you tried rebooting your main Q box ie
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions
then rebooting your mini box as the mini box gets it's signal from the main box and unless you have your broadband with Sky then it doesn't use your wifi signal it uses a mesh created by the main box
I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer
Sky Q 2 TB (Silver)Box, 2 Mini boxes since June 2016, all connected by wifi
Sky Broadband Hub/SR203, Sky Ultrafast broadband
Ultimate on Demand, Q Experience/UHD, Sky Sports, Sky Cinema
LG 49SJ 810 V UHD TV, Google Pixel 7 Pro mobile
