Episode 2 has been loaded as episode. Has been like this for over 3 days. Come on Sky - sort it asap.

"The Swarm" Show; can't watch Episode 6!

Hi there

I've been bingeing 'The Swarm', but as episode 6 came on, it repeated episode 2!! I had recorded it and realised episode 6 is actually missing. 

 

There's no option to cast it from Sky Go, so I downloaded it to my Box and now it's telling me to upgrade to Sky Sci-fi, which isn't a subscription channel and I clearly already have it!

 

I just keep getting the same message 

"To watch this Channel, please upgrade your subscription".

 

I've turned it all off/on again and tried the usual fixes, to no avail. 

 

Anyone have any idea what's going on please ? Thank you 😊

@Phoenix+Nebula I have moved your post to the larger post relating to this problem if you read through the whole post you will see it has been reported to Sky and they are looking into this

Oh so no help then! That's really disappointing considering my bill has gone up 5 times in the last 18 months, since joining and this is just another issue on the long list. 

Starting to wish I'd never left my previous provider.

@Phoenix+Nebula have you read the whole thread some other customers have posted work arounds that have worked for some but not others but as I said it has been reported to Sky who are looking into it

Same here. Episode 6 is actually the same as episode 2 so have had to go to E7 and miss it out 🙄😞

There is also another topic here on this where you can see that Sky have posted to say they are aware of this issue so I would assume this is in the process of being fixed:

Tried down;pacing from sky go to box, but I got episode 2. I did manage to download to my iPad no watch it.  Don't skip to episode 7 without watching it.

I went to watch it on the sky Q box and it wasn't there as we all know. Went to episode two however when I was on my tablet in the evening I looked to see if episode six was there and it was so I watched it and the fact that the Tsunami had just happened around Europe. Episode six seem to forget anything about a tsunami no real mention about it whatsoever so we didn't miss anything but you still need to see it to understand why they are all on a boat going to the Arctic

I managed to work around this issue by downloading the episode on my Sky go app onto the sky box

Downloading via the sky go app onto the box still gives episode 2, episode 2 also when trying to watch on the phone itself. Sky need to sort this out.

This worked for me also 🙂

 

I opened the Sky Go app on my phone and searched for The Swarm.  It shows episode 6 separate to the other episodes.  I selected ep6 and requested it to download to the Sky Box.

 

It then appeared in recordings separate to the other episodes.

 

Hope this helps others.
