TV and Sky q box not turning on correctly

We had to get a new Sky q box over the weekend and everything seems to be working well now apart from the remotes. Previously the Sky remote turned on the tv and box by pressing the Sky button, it went straight to the correct input all with one remote.

With the new set up the Sky remote turns everything on but it is not going to the correct input meaning we have to use the actual tv remote to select the correct input meaning - not the end of the world but a bit of a pain and a step backwards.

can anybody advise what I might have missed in the set up - we have an LG  OLED.

Make sure you have HDMI Control Set to 'on'

Thanks for your reply. Checked that and it is set as 'on'.

Do you have any other ideas - we haven't changed any settings on the tv it's set up exactly as it was previously.
