TNT2 Sports is not televising what was/is advertised.

Today, 24th Aug 2024, I wanted to record the America's Cup Sailing which was listed as starting at 13:00 on TNT2 but when I went to view the recording about 13:30, it was Aussue Rules instead.   Going directly onto the Channel (via my SkyQ Box) at 13:30, TNT2 Sports was still showing Aussie Rules.

How does this happen?   Why does it happen?   How can Sky and/or TNT ensure that what is advertised is actually shown?

I can do a catch-up on Discovery+ but I wanted to Lock/Keep the recording for future reference.

Thank-you

Skys epg is based on the information provided by the host broadcaster, in this case TNT.

I contacted TNT in the first place but TNT deflected me to Sky...

Only TNT are responsible for the programme information they pass on.

Re: TNT2 Sports is not televising what was/is advertised.

JUst re-tracking what happened, I was logged into www.TNTSports.co.uk & when I clicked on their 'Help Centre' Icon, it redifrected me to discovery+ | Help Centre (discoveryplus.com).

I eventually go to converse with a human via a Chat Box & it was them who said/wrote 'We do not have much information about the events shown on TNT Sports channels. Could you please get in touch with your contract provider. As they may help you with it.' so now I am in contact with Sky & I'm advised(?) to go back to TNT?

I'll go back to TNT/Disco...

I haven't suggested going back to TNT again. By the way in case you aren’t aware you’re not contacting Sky Customer Services by posting on the forum. We are mainly customers trying to help other customers.

Re: TNT2 Sports is not televising what was/is advertised.

Thanks for your advice.   I went back to TNTSports.co.uk which then redirected me to Support.DiscoveryPlus.co.uk and went back onto their (human) Help Chat.   This time they gave me a link to TNTSports.co.uk/BoxOffice as they might be able to help me...

And it's not just TNT Sports I have had this issue with either.   I've also be a victim a few times with Premier Sports.

It's like ordering a Hot Roast Dinner for Delivery but getting Cold Pasta instead and all the Taxi/Courier, Manager & Chef do are telling me it's not their fault & to speak to someone else.

So frustrating & poor...
