TNT sport channels not accessible on my sky q box. I get them direct from bt. They confirm my subscription is active. Had them with no problem for years.

Are you trying to watch on a mini or in HD?
If you subscribe to TNT Sport through Sky then you can watch on Mini boxes (provided you have the necessary Monthly Multiscreen subscription). Also through Sky TNT Sport in HD is included.
If you subscribe through BT directly then to receive TNT Sport on Minis you need to pay BT’s monthly second box charge. One monthly charge covers all minis. Also to receive TNT Sport in HD there is an additional BT monthly charge when subscribing though BT.

Nothing has changed @Matt06, including it being the most expensive way to buy access on the Sky platform (as @oldfella pointed out, unless you have an incredible deal with BT), so it should still work.
Have you tried a power cycle? Unplug from the mains and leave it for 5 minutes, then give it some time to reboot before checking on the channels.
As BT no longer have any stake in TNT Sports, just a carriage deal like Sky, you might want to consider shifting your subscription at some point. It will give you one point of contact for support and should save you money as well.

Thanks for that. It's not worth cancelling the BT Sport contract for now - would cost too much but I'm aware of the options. My problem appears not to be simple with neither Sky or BT being able to resolve it so far!!

Thank you, yes I understand the options and will change over once my contract has expired if it makes sense to do so. Unfortunately Sky nor BT have been able to resolve my problem so far despite hours on the phone!

Hi did you ever resolve this?
I've got the same issue it says on my sky q main box now I need to upgrade to watch although it's active and still works on the app on my phone! Baffled

As if you have you will have to contact BT to change the entitlements from your old card to your new one.
