It is a good idea to upgrade to Sky stream as Sky Q is being attacked becuase its old technology and needs reinforcement!

I'm sure Sky Q isn't going anywhere for a while.

hi @Stu16391

Worth searching the forums (Q & Stream) as there have been a few discussions

Please see this one which also has a link to a very detailed review from @lettice

I think experiences can vary & it does depend on several factors

Don't is all I can say.

I have SKY Q

Mate has SKY Stream.

Not the same level of product.in my opinion at all. Feels like a step back in quality and functionality.

Also make sure you have a hell of a connection and it's not being shared by all the family when you try and stream anything HD/UHD

It best storing content in the cloud in a protected three dimensional mirror not on local Sky Q storqage locally.

Depends what you mean by "best". It doesn't actually record to the cloud in the same way a Q records to the local drive. Just for programmes you select, it keeps an index of their streaming equivalent links and as I understand it, jumps into their respective apps to play them back.
