Swapped Sky Q Box and some sub channels I cant record

My previous Sky Q box stopped working.  Was sent a new one today, what a palaver it was to get working.

 

I have Basic package for Sky and could watch ITV Be HD , which I still can.  However when I set to record it states I do not have a subscription.   All that has happened is I changed the box.  I could record last week but now today I can't

 

Sky is hopeless trying to get through to them, auto attendant says it will send a text, what use is that!  Then it does send and it doesn't work then it does not send.  All day messing with this and no further forward.  Just want to speak to a human being.

@Babypink2807 a couple of things to try 

 

Have you tried rebooting your main Q box ie
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions

 

if that doesnt work 

 

You could try refreshing your viewing card by pressing home > settings > system info > viewing card number > setup > viewing card setup press select to trigger a callback don't worry nothing to do with your phone its only Sky's terminology this will be done over the internet
