We were taping a programme on the Q box and then we started to watch it. All was going perfectly normal until the TV screen suddenly went black as if the TV was turned off followed shortly after by the sound also going. The lights on the box were still showing blue and red so it was still recording and playing. However none of the buttons on the controller would do anything, it was useless. I checked the TV and all my other subscriptions were working OK. In the end I unplugged the Q box, waited a few moments and then plugged it back in. The box rebooted in the normal way, it even automatically resumed recording, and we were able to go back to viewing our recording except that it went right back to the beginning. It has all worked perfectly since.
