Stopped middle of watching a recorded show-now nothing works

Sky tv suddenly stopped mid watch of a recording, can't watch anything on sky now, recorded or not

I turned everything off, waited a while then back on and success. I'd never had it stop playing mid watch before, especially when I had internet and the tv would work on terrestrial! I'd even checked space was ok in recordings! Very odd but all good now!
