Starting a recording part way along the recording

Relative newcomer to Sky Q and enjoying the experience. However, one thing I have been unable to fathom is how to go to a point along a recording as you can on Sky+. An example is I have been recording Euro football matches but don't want to watch the first hour of pundits and start at the beginning of the match. I've been using the Fast Forward on the remote or even using the Voice button. Am I missing smething obvious?

hi @Kenneth+Alan+Hunt

As @Daniel0210  indicates  voice control is your friend here :- handy controls are :

Skip nn minutes
Go To nn minutes
Back nn minutes

You can use hours, minutes & seconds or mix e.g. Go to 1hour 15 minutes

Skip nn minutes is very handy for adverts and you get used to the length on regular used channels (Many are around the 4 minute mark)

You can also say Go To Start

Voice control in general is very useful - see

edit :BTw In case you don't know pressing & holding the FF (or Rewind) buttons engages  the fast mode (but clearly not as accurate as Voice control)

@Kenneth+Alan+Hunt

Easiest way is use voice control and say something like "go to 60 minutes".

Re: Starting a recording part way along the recording

Thanks for the responses. I am aware of the use of Voice Control, as I mentioned in my original post. I am also aware of the Fast Forward as it is similar to my previous Sky+ HD. I was just wodering whether I had missed anything. Obviously not. Thanks anyway.
