Which Sky system do you use George and which channels are affected?

Sky FTTP 500Mb to Max Hub (WiFi disabled)
Pair of TP-Link Deco BE65's in AP mode used for WiFi access, main Deco hardwired to Max hub
2 Windows desktop PC's hardwired to each Deco, everything else using the Deco WiFi

hi @George792228 

What do you use to listen to SKy - TV, Soundbar or Av system ?

 

Which ever may I suggest you check & possibly change the setting in 

Home - Settings - Setup - Audio Visual
Digital audio output HDMI
 to Normal

 

Distorted speech often comes from channels using 5.1 sound and the Sound system used being unable to handle the centre channel (deffective speaker or similar)  - setting the above to Normal means you only get 2.0 sound
