Sound dropout on main event

Yup it's almost inaudible at normal listening volumes. Sony Bravia Theatre Bar 9, sub and surrounds here. Not sure why it is so so bad.

One thing I've discovered today is that my new Sky box was only on 8-bit 4K as it wouldn't find the 10-bit so the HLG HDR wasn't working on the UHD channels. I haven't had any sound or picture drop outs for a while and the HDMI connection was fine on start up

Today I switched 10-bit on for the first time on this new Sky Q box. I am now having sound drop outs and the HDMI issue on start up is back. 

anyone else notice this or can try it?

Watching Leicester spurs game on uhd 401 with sound dropping out every 30 secs or so. Other hd channels ok.

Currently watching darts on SS ME tonight, got horrendous lip sync issues. Changed from Samsung soundbar to tv speakers, still have the issues. Adjusted sync in settings made no difference. Moved to SS HD no lip sync issues at all... has there been a fox for this yet?

Also getting frequent sound dropouts of a couple of seconds on 404 Cricket channel 😠

Yes it's back again. Fed up with this. Sky please fix this. We are paying top dollar for your services,  it your not delivering what we are all paying for. Why can't you just fix this permanently.

I have given up with UHD on Sky now. Switched resolution to 1080i and all is good. I may go back to it once LG have sorted something. My Xbox has the same problem so is definitely the TV.

Constant dropouts on Sky Sports Main Event UHD whilst watching NFL today. The issue is back, please fix.

Sunday 13th October and Main Event UHD has started playing up again with sound cutting out.. had this issue a while back but then seemed to correct itself.. seems to be this channel only which is very bizarre.. come on Sky! It's like a Norman Collier stand up during the darts

Watching Cricket this morning from Pakistan, sound drop out is back again - This has been going on for months now judging by the number of posts; Sky, can't you sort this out 😡

I am also having the same problem watching the cricket on Channel 401 in UHD - haven't noticed a problem on any other channels - it seemed to been resolved earlier in the summer but has now returned with a vengeance 😡😡

Same issues with my setup too. Sound dropouts and lip sync when watching main event UHD on sky Q. Hugely frustrating. No other issues like this with any other channel or any alternative streaming device I own.

Same here, got Shrewsbury v Exeter on at the moment on Main Event UHD, lip sync was bad and now sound dropping out. Exactly the same as a few months ago.

 Can you get on with a fix please, Sky?
