Sound stutter on main event

Happening to me now watching the Crystal Palace vs Chelsea game in uhd on 401. No sound bar / amp on at present - hdmi connection from sky box straight into LG 65 inch LED TV. Has happened twice in the first 15 mins of game. Very brief (quarter of a second) loss of sound. It happened the other night too on a different channel but can't remember what I was watching / channel.

Just to add to the growing list of unhappy campers - I too am having the split second sound stuttering on UHD (currently watching the football) and it's driving me nuts!

No problem on other channels or Netflix.

Are Sky going to fix this or ignore us?

Just switched to PL UHD Chanel .

You're dead right . Still getting Atmos and no loss of sound as yet .

Just to add to all the other posts, same problem here. Sound has been dropping briefly on 401 (UHD) for about two weeks now. 

Tried switching from soundbar to TV speakers, no difference. Tried changing from Dolby to Stereo, no difference.  Turned Sky Q box off and on, no difference.

Please get this fixed Sky, it's really annoying.

Thanks for that info - I've switched to the Premier League channel, selected UHD and that solved it. But obviously There's something wrong with Main Event UHD.

Me too, ch 401 last few weeks. Spoke to Sky help before reading this thread. The guy at the other end thought it was an issue with my hdmi lead! They clearly know about this issue but are loath to admit it's their issue. Did the pause thing, works perfect, thanks for the tip.

Glad it's not just me! Being driving me crazy over the last month or more! Even replaced my optical cable yesterday (I have going from my Q to my Sonos sound bar, hope that's correct?)

I've been having the same issue for the last 2 weeks. It was really bad yesterday for Man Utd vs Aston Villa, i.e. every couple of minutes. Today still stuttering. If switching to channel 402, the sound is out of sync so not a fix. Please get 401 (Sky Sports main event) fixed ASAP. No

issues with Netflix or other channels.

I switched from 401 to prem league channel and no drop outs. 
switched back to 401 and it hasn't dropped.

So back to prem channel and red button to uhd

Same issue here. 401 UHD sound cuts out for a split second randomly. 402 UHD seems totally fine.

Same issue, 401 sound drop out, happened a number of times during Palce v Chelsea, swapped to UHD feed on 402, no drop out but experianced lip sync issues 😫

Watching Chelsea game last night to again check problem in UHD. Two second sound drop outs picture in 4k perfect. Tried one of the suggested fixes. Paused live transmission for 10 seconds Bingo ...fixed.  paying for live sport appears watching in the past tense is the only way. Will see what the engineer says today.

I don't see how an engineer can fix it. It's a problem with the actual channel.
