Getting seriously cheesed off with this now. Pay extra for UHD and its just garbage. Tried re downloading the software and still drops out. I've changed the HDMI cable, used different HDMI's on the TV so i think they can come and change the box now.

Options for the reason for sending back and very limited but choose one.
They send the box out but will need the old one back so DPD do the swap at your door. I did this last Friday and my new box was delivered Saturday and all working fine.
I also am having this problem with the LG G4 Tv but it is also happening when im watching programs on the firestick. I am using a sonos system and this seems to be a common problem. I dont think this is a sky issue. So far i have been unable to find a fix for this. And it is very frustrating. I have tried changing setting on tv and also tried different HDMI ports.
Update. Had the box changed today and the dropouts are still happening on Main event and also mainstream channels. Changed cables, HDMI sockets and still dropping out.
This happens through the TV only and also via the LG sound bar.
Not sure where I go from here as it doesnt happen on my Apple TV or Xbox X which would indicate it isnt the TV.
We are still getting black outs every hour or so but sound remains. I have read on AV forums if you turn Quick Start + off this may help but I haven't tried it yet. Will do later.
Very quiet on my Sonos arc too, can barely here commentary, also much lauded sky sports plus seems to max out at 1920x1080, in 2024, pretty crap from sky, no technical specs progress at all, just a rebranded channel
