Sound dropout on main event

The old 'fix' of switching to Sky Sports Football and then switching to UHD works around it. Sound seems ok on that channel.

 Still would be good to get Main Event working properly though.

Yes, the work around works for me as well, I did speak to Sky today, but got absolutely no where. I tried to explain that it wasn't just me that had the issue, but the guy insisted on checking the the settings on my box, I gave up with him in the end. I have a non HDR original Sky Q silver box with a ultra HD subscription, I cannot benefit from HDR, and now the sound issue is back. It is very poor value for money.

@Bruce+S+G HDR is naff with Sky anyways on the Q box I just use ultra HD with HDR turned off its much better

I hadn't noticed a problem since the summer until today. Watching the Women's T20 on 404 and there was sound drop out. Switched to 401 and there was still sound drop out. I have a new Sky Q box (because the hard drive on the previous one was corrupted).

Trying to watch the T20 match now  - 401 is unwatchable, dropping every few secs. Gone back to 404 and so far ok (only been on a few mins). But I did hear dropouts on 404 the other day, but not as bad as 401. This has been happening for a long time now (on and off).

Exactly. This has been going on for ages. Do Sky ever look at the stuff on here and do anything about it, or are we wasting our time?

Same for me, sound keeps dropping out on Sky Sports ME UHD. Pausing does not clear it. Happening every few mins.

I have witnessed this a lot over the past weeks.. but yesterday while watching the Bournemouth v Arsenal game through main event it never dropped out once.. will see what happens today while viewing the football...

Happening again today watching Scottish football.  Other channels not affected.

Yep, same issue today with the Scottish football. Dropping out every 15-20 seconds or so.

Absolutely ridiculous that Sky are doing nothing about this when customers like myself are paying over 100 a month for the TV package, it's disgusting tbh considering how long it's been going on for

I'm watching UHD via SkySp PL (402). No sound drop out. Anyone watching on 401? How is it?
