Thanks for that link, I did not have that issue till the other day after I tried to work around my initial problem by routing the Q box through my soundbar (Sony), I can deal with the odd frozen picture though, much better then losing picture completely every other day

I had the same problem with picture freezing & screen going blank with all remotes not working & having to take the plug out for 30 seconds. Found this when my third Bravia 8 in less than a month. Disabled samba etc a week ago & it has worked with no freezing. The only problem I have is trying to get the 5 year warranty organised. Sony not being very co-operative but hopefully after a web chat lasting nearly an hour it will be sorted. Still waiting for the update though !

Unfortunately over the last week or so ( after 3 weeks of no black screen or freezing ) the black screen has randomly started again ! It's happened maybe 3 times over the last few days. Samba has been disabled for 3 weeks - clear cache - delete app etc etc , so frustrating ! Nothing else has changed that could of made the problem begin to happen again ! Really not sure what to do now any ideas ?

An update is coming according to Sony so we have to wait and hope they finally fix the problem.
