Smartphone interferes with connection to mini box

One of my mini boxes stops working if my wifes IPhone is in the house. My phone does not seem to cause a problem. If she is away from home it appears to work fine

When you say stops working what exactly takes place and is the iPhone using WiFi calling?

My wife's phone is on Wi-Fi calling, as is mine.

And if you turn off WiFi calling on the iPhone, but leave WiFi data on, does the minibox work as it should?
