I recently moved from Virginia 250mbps to sky fibre 1gig and noticed my SkyQ box acting strange. The downloads are extremely slow (UHD the day of jackal show took 12-16hrs). Play while downloading has stopped working, apps streaming is very pixelated (noticed on paramount+ Landman). It used to work perfect with VM but strangely on Sky bb it's pants.
I have gone through all steps but still no luck (even retting all setting through hidden menu). The networking Sky Q box seems to keep dropping now following settings reset so no more downloads possible as they keep showing as "Failed, Technical issue".
The smart TV connected to Sky Q box is able to stream all apps in 4K (Netflix shows download speed of 80mbps) so definitely the WiFi is not an issue here.
At wits end now, as the box is only useful for live tv and no catchup works.
