Skyq and TV won't stay off

Hi there always watch all TV through skyq  on hdmi lead etc   but every time I press to turn off the TV comes straight back on drives me mad trying to get TV to stay off.  I used to just hold down remote ON OFF button and TV would go off all it does now is comes back on sometimes saying do I need to switch box on?  Why doesn't it just turn off like it used to please

Hi @Sophielegs Leave the Mini box on, and then press and hold the off button on your remote for two or three seconds, the TV should turn off followed by the Mini box?

What happens if you have both Q box and television on and then switch off the television with the Television remote (not the Q remote).  Does this turn off the Telly and the Q box and does the telly stay off then?
