SkyQ locking up and disconnecting from TV

I've had this issue nearly daily now. My SkyQ locks up, disconnects from my Samsung TV (so assume no signal being sent) and has to be disconnected at the mains plug for the SkyQ box to reinitialise. Is this a common occurrence or has my SkyQ box reached that "age" 😄.
