SkyQ box intermittently loosing internet connection

My SkyQ box loses internet connection intermittently every day. 

While watching Netflix or other streaming content, it suddenly goes off. All other devices (laptop, mobile, etc) remain connected to the internet, which means it is not the router. Tto resolve, I have to restart the SkyQ (sometimes twice) before the internet connection is reestablished.

I have tried using the Sky router and Virgin router, makes no difference; issue still occurs. 

I am not sure how old the Sky Q box is, but i tis easily over 5 years and possibly approaching 10

The Q television platform was launched in early 2016.

Hmmm...

 

Seems no one has an answer to this.

I might have to get an engineer over.
