SkyQ box has no satellite signal (all channels) and loses connection to network (ethernet connectio)

SkyQ box working fine last night. Turned on this morning and 'no satellite signal' blue screen on all channels. Status shows no satellite signal and, a few seconds after rebooting drops the (wired) network connection. Sound like a new box required? Anything I can try before calling Sky?

@DrMopp

If a message displays “no satellite signal” firstly check that the connections from the Sky dish going into the back of your Sky Q box are still finger tight. Otherwise it’s likely to be a dish alignment issue so check the troubleshooting in this link
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-tv-no-satellite-signal-sky-q
It may then give you the opportunity to arrange an engineer to check the alignment of your dish. If it doesn’t you’ll need to contact Sky to book an engineer appointment.

If you are connected to a communal dish you need to liaise with your building management company / landlord who will have their approved engineers to contact.

Remember, a misalignment is not necessarily something that will be visible to the naked eye and could only affect one or two channels.

Connections are fine. It is a communal dish, and the management company had an engineer in over a week ago who replaced some equipment(?).  Everything working fine up until last night. There is 'No Satellite Signal' period, not just on a few stations and  all of the main menu items, even Recordings say 'to use this service you need a satellite signal'

You need to get back on to your management company in that case.

They are fobbing you off. It's their responsibility to contact their approved engineers not you.

Yes I know,  but Sky have said they send an Engineer FOC so I'll just have to see what they say.

@DrMopp

Hopefully the attending engineer will be appropriately trained to deal with communal set ups.
