SkyQ - 2TB box required for Ultra HD

I'm trying to add to add the Ultra HD package to my account, when I try it online it just goes to a 'You have nothing in your basket screen'. I phone up and was told that I can't add Ultra HD as my SkyQ box is only 1TB, and I need 2TB version (with a £100 install fee..). The 1TB model is have is an UHD box (32B2... model). Surely the operator has got that wrong?

hi @Bazz891

You are correct & the operator was wrong.

The 32b2xxx box you have is indeed UHD/HDR & the 1TB box you have is now the standard box issued to new customers

You do not need a new box to get UHD and SKY advisers should be able to add this to your subscription, if you can't do so online

(Note the UHD sub does need the HD add on as a pre-requisite)

Edit BTW the original 1TB box  that is not UHD capable is Hardware version 32Cxxxx

Thanks, I thought that would be the case. I have the HD add on so not sure why the website is just taking me in a loop. I'll phone back and hopefully get a different operator.
