Sky use existing TV aerial cables

We have just moved into a new build that has tv aerial point run from the living room to the loft. Can Sky use this same cable and connect from the loft? Presumably changing connections at each end? Thanks

Probably not as aerial cable may be insuffient/unsuitable for satellite reception use, Sky will put new cables from the dish to the location of the SKy Q box

No, you cannot use 'aerial' (RF) cables for Sky Q.  The engineer will run (and drill) for the necessary twin-shot cable.

AIUI Sky will not enter lofts.

@APage

If the developer is fitting cable for loft aerials that may indicate there's a covenant against external installation of both bent wire antenna and satellite dishes, so I'd suggest checking before ordering Sky Q.
