Sky updating for hours so can't watch

My sky is constantly updating it has been 3hrs now and it does this on a regular basis

Is it definitely your Sky box that is updating? Sky only release new updates 2 or 3 times per year and there haven't been any since about last October.

Yes its does it all the time I can't watch anything I switch it off and switch back on and it stays the same
