Sky tv stuck on sky news remote will not move menu but volume button still working on remote .

Remote will not scroll through menu . Sky  Q box was stuck on amber light and had to press manually on box to change to green light and  Sky home page .

Hi @LD80 

Reset your Q box remote by pressing  and holding 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times. 
This will set it to infrared which will work all Q boxes.   However the remote must be pointed directly at the Q box.

Switch your Q box back on and you then you should be able to get past the scrolling issues.

Once you get the Q box working make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.
