Sky sports uhd, “loading, please try again…….”

Been trying to watch the ashes on sky sports uhd all day and all I get is "loading, please try again in a few minutes.
I've unplugged the box, left for 30secs and started up again.
All other channels are working. Internet connection is good and it works on sky go.
Any suggestions?
cheers.

I can't watch what I've paid sky to watch, but I have started my journey to earning endless badges for future issues!!!! [content removed]

I don't follow cricket but I think there has been a rain delay with coverage just starting - is it possible that the UHD coverage wasn't available because of this delay ?

I've suffered from the same issue over the last couple of weeks or so.

You can possibly get round it by getting to the UHD channel via the TV Guide...but it's not ideal.

Great if Sky can explain why it has started happening - and fix it.

Good point.
it has had the blue/grey bar showing how much of the programme has passed and left.

if that is the case, I'd rather they didn't show it was on at all. I've spent ages, messing with the sky box and checking the internet for problems.

I'll check it now.
cheers.

Trying to watch the ICC cricket. Getting the loading, please try later message. Tried rebooting.
There is precious little cricket on Sky and what little there is we can't get to. And the subscription has just gone up by 60%. Remind me why I bother?
