Sky sports password protected

I wish to put a password on my sky sports package as I cannot get out of contract

@MC802  are you referring to being able to permanently lock the channels via the sky Q box epg meaning you require the PIN code every time you want to access them? that's the only possible way I know of 

 

That's certainly possible on a sky plus hd box under settings parental control and pin but I'm not sure if it's possible on Q

I would like a password to be entered to watch sky sports, Netflix (apps) etc and why is my decision to make. Thank you for your reply

Look under parental controls in Settings.

 

You can enable a PIN for Apps and the level of TV rating.  (If the Sports channel has a rating of 'U' then you can enable a PIN - but not all programmes have a rating)

Yes, I've just tested it.  You can enable PIN for even 'U' rated transmissions.  (But not all broadcasts have a rating)

 

(But this is not just for Sports channels - it applies to all)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
