Sky sports + catch up query
If I can't watch a live stream on Sky Sports + will I be able to watch it on catch up later?
Moderator note: Amended title to better reflect query

I think we all hope/assume so, but it isn't clear yet.
There is some tennis on now, so we should see the app behaviour for on demand soon.

Re: Sky sports +
So far disappointed with this upgrade, you can only pause the live stream on the Sky sports app on mobile and there's no rewind at present. A couple of tennis matches has finished but there's nothing on demand either. After watching the olympics on discovery plus the last couple of weeks with the ability of watching every event live and being able to watch any event on demand in full just after the event has finished sky ports + is a massive disappointment and sky remains way behind their competitors

Re: Sky sports +
Well @Lloydb , so far it seems that the answer to on demand viewing is "no".
Choices appear to be to watch live, pause, rewind or catch up on highlights. Still, early days though so things may change when the EFL coverage starts.

Re: Sky sports +
So Hudderfield Giants vs Catalan Dragons on tomorrow 8pm how the hell do I watch on the TV? I don't want to watch on my phone. Prior to this debacle, I could watch and/or record all six matches per week. No a footie fan.
This is not an improvement.

Re: Sky sports +
Assuming you have Sky Q @medusasf you will click on the tile in the Sky Sports app and watch it live, or go to the Sky Sports+ channel and click the red button to got to the app and watch.
Both are available right now on Q, I just checked. I'm guessing the league and clubs must have agreed to this change and moving away from recording is unfortunately the direction of travel for all content.
Sky Sports+ on Q

Re: Sky sports +
So the answer is I can't - I am not watching on a phone!. I'm in my 60s with cataracts, I pay to watch on a TV. This is not what I pay for and is reducing my ability to watch the sport I played as a kid and love.

Re: Sky sports +
No, the answer is you can.
You can watch on Q, the picture I have shared is of Q, the app is on your Q box, you don't need to watch on your phone, you will watch live on your TV as normal.
Your Sky Q box is full of promotional videos on how this works, plastered all over the Home Screen, I highly recommend watching them so you understand how to watch on your TV.

They take a little while to be approved before they appear.
If you turn to channel 412 now and then press the red button, the Sky Sports+ app will load and you will see all the tiles to watch live when the games start tomorrow, just click on the one you want to watch.

As long as you have a Full Sky Sports subscription and not just a subscription to Sky Sports Action & Arena to watch the Rugby.

Re: Sky sports +
As mentioned above, watch the help and promotional videos that have appeared last few days on the home screen and through the sports menus on your Sky box.
They explain how it all works.
