Picture quality is ok but it just keeps freezing, very annoying

Do we know if Sky are actually aware, maybe one of the so called super users can help?🤷

Let me guess, you were given the link from somebody reading from a script who has no idea what they are talking about 🙄
When I was on the phone the other day sorting something the guy kept calling it ELF instead of EFL 🤣 That's a pop group and a mythical 'creature' that comes out at Christmas and sits on a shelf 🤣🤣

It's only on sports + and it's not freezing in the adverts but randomly all the time so not sure the link helps!

Same script being read. I did that twice tonight and reset my Internet box . They don't have an answer and it's terrible. Missed the whole first half of the game and eventually gave up.

At least when they first setup the new tier system and I was 'VIP' you got the crew from Scotland, now you get the ones that are not even good at English so it's a waste of time trying to explain cause they have no idea

Same as previous comments on Walsall v Huddersfield (more than five minutes behind by half time, pausing for numerous stalling events of irregular lengths at irregular intervals.)
Interesting that coverage did not 'catch up' with action, rather continued from same place, which would suggest a resource failure further down the line than the EFT?
Sky has promoted this new 'benefit' with great gusto but coverage is much worse than historic iFollow and really not of merchantable quality.
It is apparent that the root cause is somewhere within the EFL/Sky network infrastructure, which begs many questions, including...
'Has the product ever been tested, pre release?'
'If not, why not?'
'If so, does Sky regard the product quality as acceptable in the context of its overall customer proposition?'
... and of course....
'Is the problem ever going to be resolved????'

Surely they must know, your not telling me that people that work there don't use it 🤷 I worked in IT and we knew straight away and fixed it

For SKY to take action it will take media coverage to highlight these failings ....
If that doesn't happen they'll just carry on as they are !

I've had enough. I was 50/50 on restarting my Sky Sports subscription, but Sky Sports Plus convinced me. We're just not getting the service we're paying for, so I assume there is a process for claiming ongoing compensation for as long as this continues.
If they dig their heels in then I'll escalate to the Advertising Standards Authority and Ofcom. (Removed)

Yeh for a service we are paying for!!!

@Jezney__Hawkes it's one of the reasons I've not long renewed
I ended up watching the game I wanted on IPTV and it was flawless yet the service I pay for doesn't work!! 🙄

I've had similar issues trying to watch the tennis. I have Sky Q. Seems to work ok on Sky Sports + initially and then the picture freezing just gets worse and worse and becomes unwatchable. Interestingly I had no issues streaming Discovery + content during the Olympics.
I emailed viewerR@sky.com a couple of days ago and today got this really rubbish reply.
"Thanks for your email regarding the US Open on Sky Sports+. I am sorry to read you are having issues, however we have no reported faults with this service on the US Open. If you need further assistance please contact our Technical team or our website can offer further information."
I haven't bothered yet!

@KezzaRed It appears Sky have removed my post about contacting the Advertising Standards Agency and Ofcom. I guess I skip contacting Sky and go straight to them.
