Sky sports F1 cost issue

I called Sky last night to see if I could get a better deal on Sky Sports F1 as a stand alone channel the advisor told me it would cost me £34 per month extra. I had the website open on my IPad during the call and told her the offer on your website is currently £15 per see then said no it's £34 for the single channel. Also the offer on the website said £15 per month is set for 12 months I then asked if the price will change when the the next price hike is appiled she said I can't answer that we don't know until the price hike date?

I decided not to subscribe to the channel without being sure the price will rise after the next price hike.

I wondered if other subscribers have the same experience  Many thanks Les Day

Re: Sky sports F1 cost issue

I'm paying £17 a month for just the F1 channel. It's pretty much the only reason I'm still with Sky.

I do renegotiate my contract every time it is due to get the best deal.

hi @Tutter27

That is more like the cost of the full sports pack not a single channel.

It sounds like the adviser you spoke to was unable to set you up for a single channel.

The full price is £18 see the 'offers' from thetop menu on the community

You should be able to select the offer  upgrade from there

Re: Sky sports F1 cost issue

Good god. I only have Sky for F1, and only up until a few races ago F1 actually started getting interesting. I checked my Bill and I'm paying 78.50 pounds per month. I have Sky signature 34.50 pounds, Sky sports complete inc Sky sports+ 33 pounds, Sky Soprts HD should be 6 pounds but I get a 4 pounds discount, then finally Sky Sports HD 9 pounds. Total 78.50 for a few F1 races. My last contract change was over 18 x months ago, so I could quit, however F1 is getting quite good. How could I get the cost back down to under 50 pounds?  I'm guessing its the Sky sports complete that I must of had on some deal at some point.! Any help would be greatfully received.

Good deals are hard to come by it seems nowadays.  Threatening to cancel may unlock something but you'll have to commit to 2 years most likely.  (Price rises and all)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own
