Turned the TV (Samsung Smart TV) as usual, switched back on and the sky screen just says No signal.
In the sources there is a red on/off icon by the HDMI.
The upstairs sky mini dish is working fine .
Could this just need a new HDMI cable?

Are you sure that the Television is switched to the correct HDMI in put for the Q box?
Also is the Q box led Green?

I haven't changed the HDMI in the source's option and the only one.
It would appear that pressing sky on remote isn't turning the box on, it is amber only green if I turn it on at the box

Hi @Herbiedax
First make sure that the TV is switched on and is switched to the HDMI input to which the Q box is connected.
Then with the Q box switched on with green led illuminated
Press
Home 1 0 8 0 Home
on the Q box remote control.
This will change the Q box to standard resolution which will work for all TV’s.

Hi @Herbiedax
Remove and refit the HDMI cable.
Then reboot your Television set.
Disconnect the television power lead for 30 sec then reconnect.
If you still have the same issue reboot the Q box.
To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)
note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

Thanks, I will give it a try tomorrow.
Earlier I turned the tv off and the sky box for a few minutes but not in the order as you describe.
Under the stairs are huge bundles of cables and boxes for the sky, Sonos and Lord knows what else! can't see the forest for the trees!

Hi there
i am having the same problem, for over a week now. My sky q mini box switches on, the light is white. TV is on correct source for HDMI. just get a black screen with SKY in white, and then it goes to "No Signal". Have unplugged everything several times. AI chat is useless. Is it possible to talk to a human at SKY?
