My broadband was useless yesterday and it's still poor, but having got that semi working now can't connect the router to the sky Q box. Yes, I have followed the reset instructions completely, pressing the right button on the router. The screen just tells me the connection has failed. It's very frustrating. Can anyone help?

Assume you are on Sky Broadband .
Did you reset the Sky router before carrying out the Network reset on the Q box

Yes, we are on Sky broadband and did reset the router. We also have a booster and mini box upstairs I don't know if that makes a difference. None of them are working
