The Q box has no concept of volume.

 

You remote needs to be correctly setup for the appropriate TV.  https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-q-remote-help

We can't send you anything as we are customers just like you.


After checking the basics, ie; fresh batteries, re-pairing etc if your Sky Q remote is definitely broken/faulty, if you follow this link it should allow you to do some more troubleshooting and then it’ll send you to a form to request a replacement (there is the possibility this is not available to customers in the ROI).

It may be quicker to purchase a new remote from a retailer / larger supermarket. If you do that as well as the above you’ll have a spare.

In the meantime if you have an Apple device with Sky Go you can possibly set up a virtual remote to control your Sky Q box. See this link which may help

Just stopped completely suddenly tonight. Couldn't get into tv guide. I have done all of these things about 10 times now including switching off tv and sky box. 
Lights all flashing but no instructions appear on the screen, it's just on the Home Screen, no reaction from the remote only the flashing lights from trying to pair but still nothing.  
changed batteries 3 times too.
