Sky Q box keeps shutting down

Same here. I've emailed a complaint to them. We should all do the same. We pay a lot for sky, this is outrageous.

It's not a satellite failing issue - there are three up there being used and if one failed the others would still work Most channels would be on, and Sky Q boxes would not seize up.

Randomly sky Q just turns off whilst we are watching. No warning just stops its very annoying. Is it fixable ?

This is obviously a nationwide problem. Instead of escalating certain posts, wouldn't it be better if Sky were to keep ALL users updated on the issues?

Last night my TV reported a number of times that the Sky Q had disconnected. The Sky Q was unresponsive and i had to power cycle it. This happened when watching normal TV and recordings. Speaking to a friend this morning and he had exact same issue Is this a coincidence- was there a network wide issue , or do I need a replacement box ?

Mine also went to a black screen while watching darts on sky sports. Not responding to handset after 9pm.Switched off at mains and unplugged.Reconnected waited for pulsing blue a to stop and it worked for another 15/20 minutes then did the same.No messages,checked mini box said no signal.Then got blue screen on mini box telling me to go to main box and check settings,status, but main box still had black screen so couldn't do that.

8.30 am today, Friday,Sky still black screen switched off at mains and unplugged.Sky working but have not checked mini box.Fingers crossed.

SkyQ box is on then after around 20-30mins it loses connection. I have checked the cables Internet connection cabling to satellite dish all seems OK. This happened last night ...I am unable to contact anyone at sky as they keep on saying try later.  ..well how long is later?,???

I've been with Sky over 20 years and their customer service is the worst it's ever been.

- Can't get a decent deal on Q packages any more and prices forever increasing. I think they are trying to force people onto Stream, which I don't want!

- Major outage last night with zero information. If this was a Bank, it would be all over the news.

Well there are alternatives to Sky and I for one will be looking at binning them off asap. $ky too big for their boots now.

Just tried to reboot - gets to blue screen but when I press home nothing happens and TV then shows no signal message

Still the same problems this morning , sky box shuts down every 5 minutes .

I've turned my tv and q box off three times last night and know there's an outage but it still won't work this morning. I can't ring them because they're unavailable.

what are they doing?
