Sky q switches off

This is happening to us as well.  This looks like it is a SKY issue.  Just hoping that the system has not been hacked!

Mine stopped working too, I reset the Q box and it did it again a few min later. Anyone know why this is happening?

Same here, Newcastle, tv shows no connectivity and box unresponsive.  Only power reset brings back on but goes off again within 10-20 minutes

My sky tv has gone off and is not working at all

Exact same issue for me. First crash during recording watching, and second during live TV. About 30 mins apart after power cycle.

Mine down as well. My mum's is off too. I switched it off at the wall and did a reset. It came back on but it is off again now.

Randomly Sky Q box has just been switching itself off in the middle watching things then it is totally frozen and have to turn it off at the mains to reboot. Started an hour and a half ago and Happened 3 times. So seems like every half hour. Software all up to date and well ventilated so not overheating. Had it in same place for 4 years. Quite annoying as watching the golf and obviously the recordings stop evertime have to reboot it all. Any advice appreciated, Also if is an issue with the box I presume sky will replace as don't own it? Thanks in advance

I was watching Sky Sports  a playoff between Charlton and Wycombe, everything was fine and everything suddenly went off my box does not respond, it has a green light on and a red light in the centre When I press the remote, nothing happens, so I can't even get into settings on screen my broadbands fine as is my mobile just no tv whatsoever.

Any ideas anyone
