Problems started last night whilst watching the golf, 😡. After 3 PORs, I gave up. Box was unresponsive this morning, POR, took photos of settings and downloaded latest software. Appears to be OK now so 🤞for us all.

Exactly same thing happened to mine. Seems that it's affecting thousands of other Sky Q customers as well so, as they say, we are not alone...!!

 

I suppose this is a relief (in a way) as I thought it was my Sky Q box on the blink - but there's thousands of us in the same boat. 

 

I assume the North Koreans have been at it again (!!!) but trust the Sky Q boffins are working behind the scenes for a fix.

 

Or hoping they are...

My sky crashed 9 times just trying to watch 1 episode on Disney it's happened to me a few times they sent me a new sky box and it still happens they always blame it on my internet but I've switched providers and it still does it feel like smashing it up against a wall it's so frustrating

No sky since last night

I I have rebooted my Q box 3 times but after 20mins it goes black. The checker says nothing wrong. This is happening all over the UK. Have Sky fallen foul of hackers? This has been happening since 9.30pm last night

I'm so glad I found this thread! I was thinking my TV was broken! Exact same issue up in Glasgow, haven't tried it since but what do we do if it continues? My Sky app said nothing was wrong when I ran diagnostics😭

Same here. The really annoying thing is that there is nothing from Sky. No acknowledgement there is a problem. These things happen but in a "Good Customer Service" world you get feedback and a simple apology. "We are trying to g to fix the problem normal service will be restored asap" etc. Not Sky, they just ignore you. Like others I pay Sky more per month than electricity, water, my bank etc If they did this they would be hung out to dry. Sky treat you like **bleep** with their usual total arrogance. No wonder so many people love to hate them. I wouldn't want that reputation for my business. Shame on them. One day these things will haunt them like Ratner and others. People will desert them, there are now enough cheaper options with better service. Think on Sky.

Just be good If they made customers aware of a problem rather than saying "no issues to service". Like everyone else I spent the evening resetting the system and making sure updates current. Surely first thing to do when fixing what appears to be a widespread issue is to advise customers?
