Mine went down last night got it working againg by restarting the box came to bed & it happened again

Having missed all this last night I dragged myself out of bed and found the main Q box crashed as described.

I power cycled (removed plug), and got it back up and running, although it wouldn't download anything for a couple of minutes as it sorted itself out.

Now downloading the content it crashed on last night. I have had it on for around 10 minutes with no issues, but will keep an eye on it.

So far no restarts since last night box was left over night in stand-bye. Switched on at 6am so far so good no crashes 😀

I have unplugged the box 11 times over the last two days and I have been unable to finishing watching one show today. The box is in standby and also showing we are still watching something. This is a diabolical service. What's happening Crashed so many times

I've merged your post into this thread that is most likely connected. Don't expect you to read 900+ posts but suffice to say there has been a massive TV outage overnight. Sky are obviously aware and are working on it.

My Sky box kept turning off!(15-05-2025)  Started during Eurovision, reset it, came back on... but it did this FIVE times every 10 minutes! Gave up in the end and watched TV on my old one. 😫 #SkyBox #Eurovision #TVProblems #TechSupport #Frustration

Had the same issues as others with sky q bix - in the middle of watching a recording picture goes black, lights on sky q box keep turning as usual but box does not respond to remote control or button presses on the box.  Only option is to turn off at mains and reboot.  Then sky q box isnok for 5-10 minutes before the process starts again.  Initially i thought my box had died - likely hard drive issue - but seeing so many others with sikilar or same issue assume it must be a software issue of some sort.

Why is sky not saying what the problem is with sky tv not working or how long its going to be before issue is fixed??

Sky clearly a widespread issue.  What are you doing to resolve!  Stop saying service is good......it's clearly not, pull your finger out it's been at least 9 hours now.

Still happening in Hertfordshire this morning (as well as last night) - looks like a national issue according to the press this morning??

My mini box keeps losing connection to the main box
