TV signal keeps failing

Lots of the sky community (good honest people paying hard earned cash) reporting issues with no signal to TV.

 

Is this a result of outsourcing to other countries? I understand the superb customer service we get in Scotland is also being outsourced. What next Sky? How do we get a reliable service and good customer experience?

That's happened us tonight as well, four or five times. Unplugged and rebooted every time. A few minutes later same problem.

Hi Melissa thanks for the advise. I have done that 4 tines now and only seems to work for q5 mins or so before it happens again

 

Think it is a larger issue. Appears to be happening in thd UK and Ireland.

I am experiencing the same thing in Kent. Three times I've had to reset the box. We got a glitch the other night too, with the sound going out. Thought it was just my set up until I found all of the messages on here. Its a bit wierd that it's happening nationwide. I cannot even sign in to my account. Does anyone else think this might be a Hacking?

Mine black screened, I unplugged, it came back on, then 20 minutes later went off again

Sky Q Crashed 3 Times in 2 Hours

Sky Q and Mini Box have lost connection 3 times in 2 hours commencing at 21.40hrs. Can only restore with reboot. Can Sky Expert provide explanation? Notice that MySky app also down for maintenance. Are these issues connected?

I've been having the same problem all evening (since about 9pm)... watching a recorded programme and the screen just randomly turns black, q sign keeps circling on the box, but nothing happening.  Only way to fix is a hard reboot (at the wall plug).

Not worth powering off and on as it is only lasting a few minutes , obviously a problem at SKYs end .

Mine is down, unable to update software or reset as unit turns freezes with green light and no response fron remote

What was the advice? Sorry new on this and can't fathom out how to see replies to my post or see answers on other people's posts lol!!

It's a nationwide issue people.....and no,matter how many times you start the box it will keep happening until Sky resolve it. I suspect they are either under attack or released dodgy software.

Sky connection been dropping out approx every 15-20 mins from 9.15 to now (11.15)!

So, Dky connection keeps dropping out approx every 15 mins - had gone for past two hours, now had enough and switched it all off!


Blue Sky Q button keeps coming on.

 

We have internet!  

Only way to get TV back on is to switch Sky box off and then back on again and edit gor it to reboot.

 

Proper [removed] especially as we were part way through Mobland!
