Sky q slow, unresponsive and can’t change channels

My sky q box has been slow and unresponsive for days and now I can’t access recordings or when I change channel the screen goes blank, the sound stays on the current channel for about two minutes but the menu says it's on the new channel. 2 minutes later the box actually changes channel

Sounds like a failing hard disk, usually fatal:
