I've got no satellite signal or able to access any apps.
I need help before I smash the box up. I've a engineer booked for a few days time but that's pointless to me right now.

Find out moreIf you already have an engineer booked you only thing you can do before this is check that the connections from the Sky dish going into the back of your Sky Q box are still finger tight. Otherwise it’s almost certainly a dish alignment issue. It’s worth remembering that a misalignment is not necessarily something that will be visible to the naked eye and could only affect one or two channels.

That would ultimately result in billing from Sky for non-return of loaned hardware.

A Q box will typically function for online purposes over a considerable time without a satellite signal, but eventually requires one for subscription confirmation.

Tbf sky over the phone have been useless and suggested I smash it up anyway so that's on them 🤣🤣🤣
we did have the apps then sky told us steps to follow which every step just made the situation worse. Now we have nothing at all and I have people wanting to watch the live football and a kid needing Disney plus for bedtime.
