Sky q not downloading, stuck on 0%

My sky q box is stuck on 0% when downloading. I have done all resets possible with no effect. My router is fine and showing connected to the box. I have rung for technical support, only to be told that there is a problem with sky downloads and to wait 48 hours for this to be fixed. Is this right or have I been fobbed off. Also would like to know what is the next step

Hi, no it is with a company called clear business. Have had sky q for over 6 months with no problem

Okay, there is a significant issue for some Sky Q and Sky+ customers at the moment with downloading but the common denominator has been having TalkTalk broadband which is why I asked the question.

Worth trying the same solution/workaround just in case they either use a talktalk service behind the scenes or are impacted by a similar dns propagation issue.

 

try changing the DNS server in your Q's network settings to 1.1.1.1 and then confirm and power cycle the box.

Thank you. Following the rest of the other posts I have changed the DNS server to 1.0.0.1 and this has fixed my problem

Yeah that one is fine too, those two addresses are both Cloudflare DNS servers.
