Hello, last week there was a huge thunderstorm in my area and my router was damaged... Since then i encountered issues with my mini since it won't connect to the web at all via eth cable... I tried to change the eth cable, i changed my router since it was damaged and now my internet connection works like before (not very fast, 10 Mbps) but my mini still won't connect... If i try to connect it via wifi (it is just next to the router) it connects to the internet and to the main Platinum, but after 10-20 seconds it loses connection... WIth the eth cable it won't connect at all (like i said, it gets stuck while trying to get an ip address). I tried to have it replaced but when i brought it to the store they tried it and it connected via wifi and to their platinum, so i really don't understand what i got wrong... I thought I could fix it by assigning it a static ip but it doesn't work
Just to get things straight, i have a router with the mini next to it (which used to be connected via eth) and then another eth cable which goes on the other side of the house and then connects to the Platinum... The platinum works perfectly, it connects to the web and all... Has anyone experienced something like this before?
