Hi
Have had sky Q for some time and today got a sky Q mini for a TV in the extension.
All worked fine until I turned on the main sky Q box wifi booster in network settings.
Since then sky Q mini stops and has a bad interrupted signal.
Why is this. Works fine when booster option is off on main sky Q box
Thanks

Hi @Adam0021
Unless you had turned off the main Q box WiFi previously it is on by default and doesn't need turning on.
Double check in the hidden menu that both bands of WiFi are on and if you make any changes you need to Confirm before exit.
Unless you are on Sky Broadband the mini box will not connect if the main Q WiFi is off.
If you are on Sky Broadband then the mini can connect to the Q router.

Thanks but the problem is when the WiFi booster is on the sky mini gets a poor signal and picture goes on and off. When I turn booster off it's fine?

Sky said the mini boxes can act as a wifi booster to extend signal around home so WiFi coverage is better. They said to do this hot spot needs to be turned on.
Maybe having hot spot on caused wifi in general to be weaker to mini box?
