Sky q box stuck on accessibility page

My sky q box is stuck on accessibility page and won't recognise the remote control. Rebooting hasn't helped

hi @Shifnal+home 

 

This message seems to have caused a bit of a quirk so try this:

Press & hold 4 & 6 on the remote to set to Infrared only

Hopefully you can then dismiss the message

Then try re-pairing in bluetooth mode with the box by pressing & holding 1 & 3 together



If this does not work try a full remote reset by pressing & holdng 7 & 9 until the red led above the SKY logo button flashes 4 times

Then try the 1&3 to re-pair & pair with the TV

Hi @Shifnal+home   Try 7 & 9 until you see 4 flashes. The box must be in line of sight (not hidden).

Does this take a certain length of time? Have tried but no red flashes (with box in sight)

Hi @Shifnal+home  Hold down 7 & 9 until the LED on remote flashes four times. Try pressing the "?" key (LED should light up) to check that the remote is not dead.

@Shifnal+home try the following... 

 

reboot the Q box in question 

then 

Unpair their Sky Q remote from the box by holding 4&6 

Wait for the remote to flash 

 

you should then be able to dismiss the information screen by clicking on Skip & set up later

Hold 1&3 to repair the remote control

If 4&6 does not allow you to clear the information screen, try holding 7&9 to reset the Sky Q remote then hold 1&3 and follow the on-screen setup journey to allow the remote to control your TV.

Exactly the same problem. None of the suggestions works.
