Having done a factory reset on a Sony Bravia Android television the sky q box will not automatically come on. Having checked the settings the cable from the sky box is plugged into HDMI port number 2 on the television. The only way to get sky is to switch on the sky box and then switch on the TV. This brings up the TV screen and then I have to press the input button on the TV that shows HMDI 2. By selecting this the sky comes on. The strange thing is once I have done this and then I switch off the sky box and TV and then switch them both on sky comes on immediately. Any help would be appreciated.

As you mention a factory reset of your TV then check that HDMI Conntrol is also set on - On Sony I think it may be called Viera Control edit : Bravia Synch (oops Viera is Panasonic)
